Privacy Policy
Downtown Lunch Club · Last updated: July 8, 2026
Downtown Lunch Club ("we," "us") runs a curated local lunch program in downtown San Diego.
This policy explains what we collect from members, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Your mobile number and your consent to be contacted.
- Where you work, if you choose to tell us (optional) — used to send you nearby deals.
- How you use the program — which offers you claim and redeem, and at which partner restaurants.
- Where you joined — the poster, card, or building associated with your sign-up.
How we use it
- To deliver the deals you signed up for and personalize which offers you see.
- To tell a partner restaurant that a member redeemed one of their offers (so they can honor it and measure results). We share redemption counts, not your identity, beyond what a redemption requires.
- To improve and operate the program.
SMS / text messages
By joining, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages
(offers and program updates) from Downtown Lunch Club at the number you provide. Consent is
not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies (we cap it — typically
no more than one text per week). Message and data rates may apply. Reply
STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are
not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We don't share your phone number with
partner restaurants for their own marketing. We don't send you other companies' ads.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop messages.
- Email us to access or delete your information (California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA).
- Leaving out your workplace is always optional.
Data retention & security
We keep your information while you're a member and for a reasonable period after, then delete it.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect it.
